About This Product
Overview
This brick mural features the Ragdoll cat and belongs to the Cat Mural series. It works as wall decor or a pet-themed art piece, and appeals to cat lovers who prefer an elegant style.
Design
Composed front-on, the Ragdoll's face stands out in relief with the breed's characteristic colour points, large clear blue eyes and pink inner ears fully reproduced. Long fur is built from tiered curved pieces, giving a soft, wavy volume and a gentle, refined character. The piece is a relief panel inside a frame, the cat pushing forward from the backboard.
Highlights
A large number of curved pieces recreate the Ragdoll's flowing coat, with rich layering and curl. Transparent blue pieces form the eyes, catching the light to look alert and alive. The black frame sets off the cat and strengthens the sense of depth.
Story
The Ragdoll originates in the United States and is often called the fairy of the cat world. Gentle, tolerant and large in build, its long silky coat and calm temperament have made it one of the most popular companion cats worldwide.
Details
A folding double stand is built into the back for desk display, and the backboard has a hanging point for wall mounting. The frame is moderately thick, making the relief stand out clearly. Slender pieces form the whiskers, matching real cat detail.
